Virginia Way2Go Card Help

The Virginia Way2Go Debit MasterCard® is the safe and convenient electronic payment system for receiving unemployment insurance (UI), cash assistance, child support, payroll, and child care payments. The Commonwealth of Virginia has implemented the electronic payment system to reduce fraud and provide recipients with immediate access to their benefit payments.

The Way2Go Card VA is currently used for depositing benefits for the following government assistance programs:

• Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
• Unemployment Insurance (UI)
• Electronic Child Care (ECC)
• Child Support
• Payroll

Way2Go Login VA Instructions

If you are trying to access your Virginia child support, cash assistance, unemployment or assistance benefits, including payment schedule, card balance, and transaction history, we will walk you through how to do that.

Your VA Way2Go Card account can be used to access all of the information related to your assistance benefits.

Follow the step-by-step instructions outlined below to successfully complete your Way2Go Login VA.

Step 1 – Visit the Way2Go Virginia Website

To login your Virginia Way2Go Card online account, the first thing you need to do is visit the GoProgram website. You can visit the Go Program website for Way2Go Card VA can be found at www.goprogram.com.

The Go Program VA Way2Go Card website should look like the screenshot provided below:

Step 2 – Enter your Virginia Way2Go User ID

On the GoProgram website, enter your Virginia Way2Go Card User ID information. Once complete, click the green “Login” button to proceed.

Step 3 – Enter your Way2Go Virginia Password

On the next page, enter your password for your Virginia Way2Go Debit Card account. When complete, click the green “Login” button. If you’ve entered the correct Virginia Way2Go password, you will be taken to your Way2Go Virginia Account homepage.

Once logged in, you can use your account to access your Way2Go Card VA balance, Reemployment Assistance payment schedule, transaction history and more.

How to recover a lost Way2Go VA User ID

Follow these steps to recover your lost Way2Go Card Virginia User ID login information.

1.  Visit the Way2Go Card website at www.goprogram.com.
2.  Click the blue “Forgot User ID” link below the login.
3.  Enter your 16-digit Virginia Way2Go Card Number and 3-digit CVV.
4. Click the “Submit” button to access your Way2Go login VA information.

Create a Way2Go Card VA Account

If this is your first time using the Virginia Way2Go website, you will first need to create an account before you can complete your Way2Go Login VA. 

Once you have registered your VA Way2Go account, you can access any of your child support, unemployment, or cash assistance benefit payments online.

For help registering your VA Way2Go Card online account, follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the section below.

Follow the steps outlined below to successfully register your Way2Go Virginia online account.

Step 1 – Visit the Virginia Way2Go Card Website

The first thing you need to do when creating a Virginia Way2Go Card account, is to visit the GoProgram website.

You can visit the Go Program Way2Go Card website at www.goprogram.com.

Step 2 – Go to the Register Account Page

Once on the Way2Go Card website, click the green “Register your Account” button located at the center of the page.

Step 3 – Enter your VA Way2Go Card Information

After that, click the “Register your Account” button. You will be taken to a new page where you will be required to enter your full 16-digit Virginia Way2Go Card Number.

Additionally, you will also be asked to enter the 3-digit CVV on your VA Way2Go Card.

After that, complete the security questions and click the green “Continue” button to proceed to the next step.

 

Step 4 – Verify your Identity

Once you have entered your Way2Go card information, you will be required to verify your identity. This is to protect the security of your Virginia assistance benefits.

To do this, you will be asked to provide your:

• First and Last Name
• Mailing Address
• Social Security Number
• Date of Birth
• Valid Email Address

Once you have successfully entered information, click the green “Continue” button to verify your identity.

Step 5 – Create your User ID & Password

After that, you will be able to create your Way2Go Card Virginia login information. This will be used to gain access to your Virginia Debit Card account.

First, select your User ID – it must consist of 6 to 8 alphanumeric characters (letters and/or numbers).

Second, create your Password – it must be 8 to 16 alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers). In addition, your Way2Go Password must include all of the following:

• At least one uppercase letter
• At least one lowercase letter
• One or more numbers

When complete, you can move to the last step in the account registration process.

Step 6 – Choose your Security Questions

Next, the last and final step when creating your Way2Go Card VA account is to select your account security questions. This information will be used if you need to gain access to your account, should you ever lose or misplace your login information.

When complete, you will be taken to a confirmation page.

Congratulations! You have now successfully registered your online Go Program account for the Virginia Way2Go Debit Card. You can now login to view your benefits balance, payments and transaction history online.
