Florida Unemployment EPPICard
The Florida Unemployment EPPICard is the most convenient and secure way to receive your Unemployment benefits. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (FDOE) implemented the EPPICard electronic payment system for safe and quick access to your Florida unemployment benefit payments.

Activate your Florida EPPICard
If you have a new Florida EPPI Card, you will first need to activate your card before you can access your child support payments and cash assistance benefits.
To activate your FL EPPICard, please contact customer service to set-up your 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN).
There are two ways to activate your EPPICard – online and by phone.
Option 1 – Online
To activate your Florida EPPICard for child support, TANF, and payroll payments online, please visit the FL EPPICard website at www.eppicard.com.
Once on the website, click the “New User” link below the login section. Follow the steps to activate your Florida EPPICard account.
Option 2 – By Phone
To activate your Florida EPPICard by Prepaid Debit MasterCard over the phone, please call the toll-free FL EPPICard customer service phone number at 1-888-898-3584.
You will be asked to provide:
- 16-digit Florida EPPICard Number
- Last 4-digits of your Social Security Number (SSN)
- Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY)
After that, you will be able to create your 4-digit PIN number. Once complete, sign the back of your card and it’s ready for use.
Check your FL EPPICard balance
There are three ways to check the balance on your Florida EPPICard – by phone, online, and in-person. Follow the instructions provided below to successfully check your Florida Unemployment Debit Card balance.
Option 1 – Phone
Call Florida Unemployment EPPICard Customer Service by using their toll-free phone number at 1-888-898-3584 to check your current balance.
You are allowed 5 free customer service calls each month. After your 5 free calls, there will be a $0.35 charge for each call to customer service.
Option 2 – Online
To check your Florida Unemployment Debit Card balance online, visit the Florida EPPIcard website. Once on the website, login to your FL EPPICard online account to view your unemployment card balance.
Option 3 – ATM
The last option to check your Florida EPPICard balance is in-person at an ATM. Visit a MoneyPass or Comerica Bank ATM location near you to check your FL EPPI Card balance.

Customer service representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Speak with a Live Person at Florida EPPICard Customer Service
If you are having trouble getting a live person on the FL EPPICard Customer Service phone number, follow these instructions below:
- Dial the Florida EPPICard Customer Service phone number at 1-888-898-3584.
- After that, DO NOT press any button on your phone.
- Wait until the automated message repeats itself about four times.
- A message will say to call back later or wait on the line for a customer service representative.
- After several minutes, you are likely to get a FL EPPICard Customer Service representative to pick-up the call.
This “trick” has worked for several Florida EPPICard Cardholders when trying to speak with a live person. If all else fails, we suggest contacting your caseworker at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.
Login to your EPPICard Account
To login to your Florida EPPICard online account, follow the step-by-step instructions listed below.
Step 1 – Visit the Florida EPPIcard website.
Step 2 – Type your User ID into the box on the left side of the screen. After, click the yellow “Login” button.

Additionally, if you are a new If you are a new user you may sign up for an account online by clicking the “New User” link below the login.
To sign up for an online FL EPPICard account, you will need:
- 16-digit Florida EPPIcard number
- 3-digit CVV number
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY)
- An email address*
*Be sure that your email address is active in case you forget your user login information.
After you have provided this information, you will be asked to select a User ID and Password for your Florida EPPICard online account.
Once your account has been successfully registered, you can now login and access your Florida Unemployment benefit payments online.
