Eppicard app for iphone

If you are currently on Eppicard from a state program, either for unemployment benefits payments or child support payments, the www.eppicard.com website is one way to get information about your card, including help with account balance, transaction history, or whether your unemployment benefits or child support money has been deposited in the account. You can also call the eppicard customer service number at the back of your card to get the same information. There is however another convinient way to access your account information. And that is through the iphone application that is developed by the company the runs the program on behalf of the states – Xerox Corporation. Below are pictures of what the app looks like:

It allows you to conveniently and securely monitor your EPPICard available balance and Card activity directly from your Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. Some of the functions you can perform on the application include the following:

•Check your available EPPICard balance anytime, anywhere
•Review up to four months of transaction history
•Confirm your last deposit

How To Login to the App

If you already have your EPPICard user ID and password, you’re ready to use the mobile app. New card members must first enroll your Card account at www.EPPICard.com to get your user ID and password for mobile and online access. To download the app on itunes, click here.

Even though the application is very convenient to use and provides the basic features one would expect from any application that is supporting a prepaid debit card, there is a one BIG drawback to the eppicard app for iphone. It is that the application currently only provides information for customers that reside in only 3 states:

  • Georgia
  • Virginia
  • North Carolina

For us, this is a huge let down. We are baffled by why Xerox will release an application for a program that impacts all 50 states and only provide access to customers in 3 states. We hope there are plans in place to add more states soon. Otherwise, what’s the point in claiming you have an app if it does not allow all your customers to have access to it.
